Tongan Society South Canterbury
Malo e lelei, the Tongan Society South Canterbury was created in 2016 to bring together, support and empower our Tongan community, fanau, family and kainga, while living in South Canterbury.
Our goals are to:
– Promote Tongan culture and share with our South Canterbury community
– Bring our community together both Tongan and non-Tongan within South Canterbury
– Celebrate our Tongan community’s successes – strong in Tongan culture and strong in navigating the waves of living in Aotearoa New Zealand.
– Empower through education, learning and support in a safe and comfortable space
